A person who meets certain conditions may apply for the resident status, i.e .:
• resided in the Republic of Poland for at least 5 years immediately before submitting the application;
• has a stable and regular source of income for the last 3 years to cover the cost of living for himself and the family;
• has a confirmation of knowledge of the Polish language.
During the appointment, you must submit a completed application, four current color photos, photocopies of all pages of the passport and a confirmation of payment, as well as documents confirming the circumstances indicated in the application.
The stamp duty for issuing a long-term resident’s EU residence permit is 640 PLN.
The decision may be appealed to the Head of the Office for Foreigners through the Voivode within 14 days from the delivery of the decision.
