You may apply for a temporary residence permit based on a variety of circumstances:
• work (also seasonal work and work in a profession requiring high qualifications, and also when the employee has been delegated by a foreign employer to the territory of Poland);
• undertaking or continuing studies, education or vocational training, seeking employment by a graduate of a Polish university, etc.
• voluntary work or internship;
• business activity;
• being a family member of a foreigner staying in Poland or being a family member of a Polish citizen.
The permit may also be granted to a minor child born in the territory of the Republic of Poland who has no care, as well as due to circumstances requiring a short-term stay and in other cases justifying a stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland for more than three months.
During the appointment, you must submit a completed application, four current color photos, photocopies of all pages of the passport and a confirmation of payment, as well as documents confirming the circumstances indicated in the application. The amount of the administrative fee depends on the circumstances on the basis of which the foreigner submits the application. The decision may be appealed to the Head of the Office for Foreigners through the Voivode within 14 days from the delivery of the decision.
